The Opportunity: As a Pharmacovigilance Scientist (PVS), you will manage safety surveillance and signal detection efforts for Astellas products. You will lead the development and implementation of safety strategies, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure the timely delivery of safety reports to health authorities.

Hybrid Working: We recognize the importance of work-life balance. Our hybrid model offers flexibility to work from home or in-office, with a minimum of 1 day per week in the UK or Poland. Flexibility may vary based on business needs. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the office.

Key Activities:
  1. Manage signal detection and safety evaluations for Astellas products.
  2. Provide input and leadership in safety surveillance strategy development.
  3. Lead safety report preparation, including PSUR, DSUR, and PADER.
  4. Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  5. Lead mentoring and training for junior team members.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance, signal detection, and risk management.
  • Ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH/FDA regulations and drug safety guidelines.
  • Proficiency in pharmacovigilance reporting systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills in a global environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Additional Information:
  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Based in the UK or Poland.
  • Hybrid work model; requires at least 1 day/week in the office.
