Job summary

Cycle Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate to join our Cambridge team on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office). You will manage day-to-day PV activities and support safety science initiatives across products, ensuring favorable benefit-risk balance.

You will collaborate with Quality, Medical Affairs, Compliance and external PV partners, lead PV responsibilities on projects, and develop PV documentation and processes to maintain compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant science subject (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Previous Pharmacovigilance experience and understanding of PV processes.
  • Experience writing aggregate reports (PSUR/PADERs) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Autonomous and proactive, yet a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and follow procedures.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Drive preparation and review of PADERs and other aggregate PV reports.
  • Ensure accountability activities are audit-ready at all times.
  • Support launch activities and regulatory dossiers from PV perspective.
  • Review ICs from external partners prior to Health Authority submissions.
  • Support updates to SOPs and work instructions.
  • Develop Frequently Asked Questions for Cycle portfolio.
  • Respond to Medical Information inquiries.
  • Ensure documents shared with PV service providers are up to date.

Position Summary: This full-time position is within the Pharmacovigilance team working in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).


Are you detail-driven and an organised person who is looking for an opportunity to work within the pharmaceutical industry? We're looking for a Pharmacovigilance Associate to play a key role in the smooth running of our safety science activities here at Cycle Pharma.


You’ll be a team player and self-starter eager to learn and able to multitask across multiple projects. You will be responsible for managing the day-to‑day pharmacovigilance activities and supporting the maintenance and development of Cycle’s products and ensuring their benefit-risk balance remains positive.


You won’t be working alone and will collaborate closely with various other departments in the business such as Quality, Product Development, Medical Affairs and Compliance, Cycle Vita (Patient hub) Finance and Supply Chain while also liaising with external PV subcontractors and strategic partners. You’ll be the main PV representative at certain projects meetings and will take the lead on numerous PV responsibilities.

What you will be doing:



  • Drive the preparation and review of PADERs and other aggregate reports.

  • Ensuring that all the accountable activities are audit ready at any time.

  • Support with launch activities and preparation of regulatory dossiers from a PV perspective.

  • Review of ICs received from external partners prior to submission to Health Authorities.

  • Support review and updates to relevant SOPs and WIs.

  • Developing Frequent Asked Questions lists for Cycle’s portfolio.

  • Responding to Medical Information enquiries.

  • Ensure documents shared with PV service provider remain up to date.


The following skills and experience will be important in helping you set up to succeed in this role:



  • Degree in a relevant science subject (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related discipline).

  • Previous experience working in a Pharmacovigilance role and a solid understanding of PV processes.

  • Hands on experience in writing aggregate reports (e.g. PSUR and/or PADERs) is desired.

  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong relationships across the business.

  • Ability to work in a proactive and autonomous manner, as well as being part of a team.

  • A high level of attention to detail and quality.

  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.

  • Willing to learn new processes and work to procedures set within the business.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage a range of tasks at any one time and prioritise own workload.
