Pharmacist - minimum 3 days a week, Bishops Cleeve GL52 8LR

Badham Pharmacy is a family-owned chain of 27 pharmacies across Gloucestershire and Bristol, serving patients since 1940 with a focus on patient-centred care.

We are seeking a second pharmacist for our busy branch in Bishops Cleeve, just 10 minutes from the M5, on a part or full-time basis.

This role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified pharmacists. We offer a competitive salary, with potential earnings of up to GBP 3.75 per service or intervention, such as Pharmacy First, NMS, Hypertension, and more, which could add up to GBP 5,000 annually to your base salary.

With the upcoming launch of Pharmacy First in 2024, representing a significant change in pharmacy services and funding, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established community pharmacy.

We are looking for a commercially focused pharmacist with strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with customers, staff, GPs, and healthcare professionals. Leading by example, you will deliver outstanding healthcare services to the local community.

The branch operates with flexible hours and uses advanced systems like PharmacyX and robotic dispensing for dosette trays, with monthly dispensing over 25,000 items.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Undertaking the responsible pharmacist role.
2. Managing the safe delivery of pharmaceutical services, including blood pressure, contraceptive services, flu jabs, and Pharmacy First services.
3. Promoting Healthy Living Pharmacy initiatives to improve community health.
4. Ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and team leadership.
5. Engaging with commissioned services and maintaining quality standards.
6. Developing the pharmacy business through relevant initiatives.
