Hourly Rate: £25.00 – £27.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 08.30 to 18.30 (Some flexibility available)

Rowlands Pharmacy, a reputable and community-oriented pharmacy chain, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager for our Aldershot branch. Join us in delivering exceptional care and improving community well-being.

About the Branch

The Aldershot branch is staffed with an experienced team, including Healthcare Partners, and is located in a busy health center. This branch dispenses approximately 7,000 items per month and uses Medipac robotic distribution technology to enhance efficiency and patient care.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £25.00 – £27.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to pharmacy staff.
  • Prescription Dispensing: Accurately and efficiently dispense medications, complying with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Patient Support: Offer medication counselling and support, addressing patient concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Medication Reviews: Conduct reviews and ensure safe medication management.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate patient records and manage inventory.
  • Immunization Services: Provide immunization services where applicable.
  • Advice on OTC Medications: Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
  • Health Promotion: Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.
What We Require
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting, with management experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
  • A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
