Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Walsall, Birmingham.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton & surrounding areas and is based next door to the local GP practice.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 8000 items a month
• It provides a wide range of services including contraception, BP, ABPM, NMS, Flu, Covid & Pharmacy First
• It provides services to 10 substance misuse patients.
• It dispenses 50 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8 - 6.30 Monday - Friday (closed weekends) and a slightly later finish of 7pm on a Thursday. We are open to 4 or 5 day work weeks.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.

You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
