Hospital Pharmacist – Band 6/7/8a – Manchester – ASAP start

We are currently looking for an experienced locum Pharmacist to work with our client in Manchester. If you’re interested in a new challenge, then please see the information below!

Key details:

• Banding: Band 6/7/8a
• Location: Manchester
• Duration: 6 Months
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9AM – 5:15PM
• Start Date: July
• Rate of pay: £22 - £37 per hour
• Ward-based experience is essential (candidates who have completed pre-reg in hospital sector will be considered)

Responsibilities and qualifications:

• Participate in ward rounds, administer patient drug histories, liaise with families, community pharmacists, and GPs.
• Provide clinical expertise and educational support to colleagues regarding medicines, doses, side-effects, and alternatives, addressing public health and social needs.
• Manage medicines reconciliation on admission or discharge, liaising with patients and community pharmacists to ensure appropriate medication supply.
• Inpatient dispensary coverage and clinical screening required.
