Job Description

About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Hollesley Bay. HMP Hollesley Bay is a category D Prison located in Woodbridge, Norfolk, housing around 460 patients who are working towards release. Within this role, you will be working with an established Pharmacy team dispensing medication, as well as delivering medication reviews and clinical screening across both HMP Hollesley Bay and HMP Warren Hill.

Hours
Monday to Friday
8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Salary
This position is full time working 37.5 hours across 5 days, you'll receive an annual salary up to £55,941 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
  • Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensure a safe and modern medicines management service
  • Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
  • Relevant post qualification experience

Although not essential, this would ideally suit an applicant with at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
