Job description

A local town pharmacy is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team and support high-quality community services for people in the Greater Nottingham area.

The pharmacy is a well-rated and well-attended store in a quiet, primarily residential neighbourhood, with public transport links and parking availability nearby.

The team enjoys close links with local GP services and complements primary care efforts through additional pharmacy services such as emergency contraception, blood pressure checks, smoking cessation support and more.

As a Pharmacist, you’ll be joining a skilled and experienced team in providing comprehensive community pharmacy care.

The services side is becoming an increasingly popular reason to visit the pharmacy and is a real area of focus for growth.In addition to prescription-related activities, you will regularly support patients with common health concerns (such as through Pharmacy First) and in establishing a healthier lifestyle, with opportunities to get involved in service development and quality improvement.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Pharmacist.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
  • (Essential) Active GPhC registration
  • (Essential) At least 12 months’ post-registration experience
