Job Title: Band 6 Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management

Location: Liverpool

Contract: Full-time, 3-6 Month (with possible extension)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of legal mechanisms governing medicines use with experience developing, implementing and auditing patient group directions (PGDs). They will apply critical thinking to ensure PGDs meet requirements and be able to work in partnership with other professions to ensure practice aligns with PGDs and underpinning policies/procedures/guidelines. Candidates must be proficient in the use of IT, with demonstrable problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage their own time, working to deadlines and prioritising tasks to complete work to the required standard on time.

Essential Criteria
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in Medicines Management within a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
