We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Fleet store, on a part-time basis (2 days per week), which dispenses over 5,500 valued items on average to the local community each month.

Reporting into the Pharmacy Manager, you will deliver consistently high standards of customer service and care whilst adhering to our Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures.

In this role, you will:

1. Understand customer needs and respond responsibly and appropriately to any queries.
2. Maintain a customer-focused environment, creating moments that matter to our customers when they need it most.
3. Engage confidently and compassionately with customers, guiding them to take medication safely and effectively.
4. Ensure your product knowledge remains relevant and up-to-date, responding to customer needs appropriately.
5. Work collaboratively with other pharmacy colleagues, offering support and advice where required, whilst sharing accurate information in a confidential and timely manner.
6. Support the Pharmacy Team and Store Manager with the delivery of agreed KPIs.
7. Be responsible for the safe, effective, and legal running of the pharmacy (e.g., clinically checking prescriptions, managing Controlled Drugs, maintaining appropriate staffing levels).
8. Follow all Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures.
9. Support the completion of all pharmacy audits and any resulting actions/outputs.
10. Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Data Security & Protection at all times.
11. Oversee the ordering and replenishment of pharmacy stock and control the sale of medicines, particularly those subject to misuse and abuse.
12. Report any dispensing errors and near misses.
13. Act promptly to any stock recall notices or drug alerts.
14. Build relationships with GPs and other appropriate Healthcare Professionals in the community.
15. Use your expert knowledge and opportunistic interventions to deliver pharmacy services and sales, whilst complying with any clinical, ethical, and professional requirements.

More About You

As a Pharmacist, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. In addition, you will:

• Possess a Pharmacy degree.
• Hold membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Demonstrate integrity and compassion.
• Complete a DBS check (organized by us) prior to employment.
