Rowlands Pharmacy in Cupar is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our community-focused branch. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care in a semi-rural market town.

The role uses ProScript System and Medipac robotic distribution to enhance service delivery. A strong GPhC registration and patient-first approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Working Hours: Average of 42.25 hours per week.

Week 1: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 to 17:30 and Saturday 09:00 to 17:00

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Crossgate Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a Non-Pharm ACPT Manager and 4 healthcare partners providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a semi rural market town. Currently dispensing around 6,000 items per month, this is a relatively steady branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve. The branch uses ProScript System.
