Job description
Overview

We are seeking a store-based Pharmacist to join our established Boots team at Congleton Retail Park (Cheshire). You will be based in-store and provide excellent customer and patient care; it’s more than dispensing medicine, it’s listening and providing expert advice and reassurance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
  • Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  • Build the pharmacy capability of store teams
  • Conduct continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
  • Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services

What you’ll need to have

  • Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers
  • Collaborative with a team-centered approach
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provision of national and local services
  • Strong communication skills; able to put people at ease and meet the varied needs of customers and patients
