About the role:

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Regional Dispensing Hub in Basingstoke. As our Supply Chain Pharmacist, you will be a critical part of our exciting new project which is going to enable growth through central fill innovation whilst using your knowledge and previous experience to lead the day-to-day clinical operations.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:
  • Deliver day-to-day clinical operations and services to our stores.
  • Lead a safety-first culture to ensure patient safety and health and safety standards.
  • Show initiative and drive continuous improvement by setting up new procedures and evolving operations for our pharmacy stores.
  • Lead the clinical elements of the production shift, supporting site colleagues to complete tasks within timeframes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Supervise and train colleagues.
  • Work flexibly as part of the RDH leadership team to support end-to-end performance.
What you’ll need to have:
  • GPhC Registered practicing pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience within community pharmacy.
  • Ability to work at pace in a high-volume environment.
  • Good technical and IT skills.
  • A distribution and supply chain background, preferably in pharmacy logistics.
  • Ability to work in a role that is continuously evolving as we shape future innovation.
  • Motivated to deliver continuous improvements while demonstrating leadership capabilities.
