Job Title: Pharmaceuticals Equity Research Associate

Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group, covering asset allocation and major industry sectors. We analyze trends in financial markets, the economy, and society, highlighting risks and opportunities, and act as consultants for the Bank, its clients, and stakeholders. Our aim is to deliver high-quality analysis and promote public debate on economic, fiscal, labor market, and social policy issues.
You will be part of the Healthcare team in London. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the team in producing equity research to assist asset managers in stock investment decisions within specific sectors. This involves detailed therapeutic and clinical data analysis, financial modeling, assisting in the production of written research, and conducting primary and secondary market research to substantiate investment views.

Your key responsibilities:
- Assist asset managers in stock selection within specific sectors by analyzing financial performance and strategies of companies
- Support decision-making on investments and divestments
- Participate in primary and secondary market research, financial modeling, and drafting research notes
- Support lead analysts with stock coverage, financial models, and research reports
- Build relationships with covered companies and coordinate with the corporate access team for client events and calls
Your skills and experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in life sciences; higher scientific degree (PhD) or financial qualifications (CFA/ACA) preferred
- Relevant professional experience in biopharmaceutical industry, consulting, or finance is preferred
- Interest or experience in equity research and the biopharmaceutical industry is required
