This position is in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, focusing on maintaining standards for MHRA manufacturing licenses. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc in a relevant field and have experience with analytical techniques. It is an exciting time for Pharmacy Technical Services across North Wales. Through the Transforming access to medicines (TrAMS) programme the future for technical services is brighter than ever. We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Quality Control and Quality Assurance department which is a key part of the broader Pharmacy Technical Services team across BCUHB. You will be supporting the team with maintaining standards to support MHRA specials manufacturing licenses and progressing with service developments. Due to the critical nature of our work, you will be expected to follow departmental standard operating procedures, comply with Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and demonstrate good attention to detail.
Pharmacy Technical Services supports training and development of all our staff and provides the opportunity for career progression in a variety of areas. You will be given opportunities to attend training courses and achieve qualifications where appropriate for your development. Previous laboratory experience or working within Pharmacy Technical services is desirable but full training will be provided.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who contributes to and works well within our existing team, sharing our focus on developing the quality services we offer through putting the needs of our patients first. You must be able to work to a high standard, be self-motivated and have good organisational, accuracy and communication skills.
