Job summary

ASCEND LABORATORIES (UK) LIMITED is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to help maintain the QMS for the UK territory and support batch releases. You will liaise with regulatory, plant and quality teams while ensuring GMP/GDP compliance and robust documentation.

The role includes coordinating SOPs, CAPAs, deviations, and audits, plus monthly stock checks and supplier coordination. A scientific degree and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree in a pharmaceutical field.
• Maintaining official documentation confidentially.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical market and quality aspects.
• Credible communicator at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on attitude.
• Desirable IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with QMS maintenance for the UK territory.
• Liaise with regulatory, plant and quality teams on batch releases.
• Prepare and review SOPs; ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
• Prepare PQRs, CAPAs and deviation logs.
• Coordinate regulatory audits, inspections and self-inspections.
• Prepare monthly stock statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Liaise with 3PL/4PL suppliers as required.
• Maintain QMS documentation on secured company platform.
