Job summary

Perrigo Company plc in Braunton seeks a Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering Team to design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for oral solid dose products. You will ensure operations are efficient, safe, cost-effective and compliant with regulatory standards while applying Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste.

Collaboration with Maintenance, Production, Quality and Capital Projects is essential.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
3+ years of experience in a Process Engineering related role within a manufacturing environment required.
Experience with process optimisation required.
Experience writing technical reports required.
Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred.
Experience with industrial building services preferred.
Experience working in a cGMP environment preferred.
Experience working in an oral solid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as Process Subject Matter Expert to maintain expert process and equipment knowledge within a manufacturing area.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation and design changes to realise improvements.
Conduct engineering change management and preliminary financial analyses of improvements.
Oversee implementation of changes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Provide production support by collaborating with Maintenance, Production, Quality and Capital Project teams.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Contribute to SOPs, validation protocols and technical documentation.
