Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Multi Drop Van Driver to ensure the speedy and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals. Based in Bugle, Cornwall, you will work a 48-hour week across Mon–Sat, delivering to multiple sites and maintaining vehicle safety and hygiene.

You will load orders, check drop sheets, and maintain professional customer relations while adhering to Health & Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven.
• Points on license may affect shortlist decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• To maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other road signs.
• To perform a daily vehicle safety check and ensure roadworthiness.
• To report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
• To maintain the vehicle's interior and exterior condition and cleanliness.
• To ensure sufficient fuel for the day’s work.
• To secure the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• To check orders on drop sheets and load accordingly.
• To collect goods returned for credit and ensure safe return to the branch.
• To handle damages/breakages promptly and in line with HazChem procedures.
• To maintain a smart appearance and good customer relations.
• To assist with warehouse tasks as required by Management.
• Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
