Job summary

AmerisourceBergen in Exeter is recruiting a Multi Drop Van Driver to ensure fast, accurate delivery of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and hospitals. The role requires safe driving, daily vehicle checks, and maintaining high standards of service and vehicle condition.

You will load orders, check for accuracy, and maintain customer relations while adhering to HazChem safety procedures and branch instructions. 48-hour weeks with a strong emphasis on route efficiency.

Qualifications

• A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent Customer care.
• Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals safely, efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness including lights, brakes and coolant.
• Report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security of contents at all times.
• Ensure sufficient fuel and check orders on drop sheets for loading.
• Collect goods returned for credit and manage returns as instructed by branch management.
• Handle HazChem procedures and damages promptly per policy.
• Support warehouse tasks and help maintain good customer relations.
