Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Microscopy & Particle Characterisation Scientist in Wirral for a 35-hour week. The role covers particle size analysis, microscopy, and material characterisation in a hands-on laboratory, supporting development and investigative work.

You will carry out physical and analytical testing on pharmaceutical materials, interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and help implement new equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science or related subject.
• 1-2+ years' relevant laboratory experience
• Experience with particle size analysis and microscopy
• Experience with XRF and XRD is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Carry out particle size analysis, microscopy and material characterisation.
• Perform a range of physical and analytical testing on pharmaceutical materials.
• Record and interpret laboratory data accurately.
• Support new equipment and process implementation.
• Investigate results and troubleshoot technical issues
