Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician in Macclesfield to support facilities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You'll perform PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building services, diagnose faults, and ensure GMP compliance.

Experience in GMP environments and a valid UK driving licence are preferred. You will maintain HVAC, pumps, pipework, water/steam systems and contribute to continuous improvement while updating CAFM records and working

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments (pharmaceutical/biotech) advantageous.
• Proven ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance across MEBS systems.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain equipment including HVAC, pumps, pipework and utilities.
• Support electrical systems, lighting and power distribution.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, H&S, site procedures and permit-to-work.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and update CAFM systems.
