Job summary

Right Now Group is actively recruiting an Export Freight Operator in the Heathrow area. You will manage Air Freight Export shipments from start to finish, including airline bookings, Air Waybills, and export documentation in a pharmaceutical, temperature-controlled environment.

The role requires accurate handling of customs declarations (CDS) and close liaison with airlines, agents, and overseas offices. Expect Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturday overtime and growth within a major

Qualifications

Previous Air Freight Export experience.
Ability to manage Export shipments start to finish.
Good knowledge of airline bookings and Air Waybills.
Experience completing customs declarations using CDS.
Familiarity with Air Freight export documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage Air Freight Export shipments from start to finish.
Handle shipments from initial instruction and booking through to final export and arrival at destination.
Make freight bookings directly with airlines.
Prepare and process Air Waybills.
Check flight details, routings and shipment information.
Complete export customs declarations using CDS.
Liaise with airlines, handling agents and service providers.
Monitor shipments and provide updates.
Investigate missing or delayed cargo and resolve issues.
