Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking a catering and barista professional to deliver high-quality, person-centred catering services in a Manchester setting. The role focuses on maintaining service standards, supporting Barista training, and upholding health and safety policies while working as part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have Catering and Barista qualifications, hands-on catering and food preparation experience, and experience with stock control and petty cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of quality in service by meeting quality expectations and performance criteria
• Review own performance and development; set objectives and participate in development opportunities
• Assist in facilitating accredited onsite Barista training
• Maintain a safe working environment; ensure housekeeping standards
• Complete risk assessments where appropriate and ensure health & safety compliance
• Comply with health & safety and risk policies and food hygiene regulations
• Carry out duties as reasonably requested by line manager
• Deliver high quality, person-centred catering services, and provide information to service users

Keyaccountabilities

• To maintain a high level of quality in service provision by:-
  Meeting quality expectations and agreed performance criteria
  Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service
• To continuously review own performance and development needs to assist growth anddevelopment by:-
  Meetings agreeing own task and development objectives and reviewing these and
  overall performance against the competency framework.
  Participating in training and other development opportunities as agreed within the
  Performance Management process.
• To assist in facilitating the accredited onsite Barista training.
• To ensure a safe working environment for self, colleagues and customers by:-
• Ensuring good standard of housekeeping is maintained with own area
• Ensuring risk assessments are completed when appropriate
• Taking personal responsibility for own safety e.g. reporting concerns, ensuring
  appropriate health & safety is in place.

• Complying to food hygiene regulations

• Preparing and delivering food and drinks to quality standards Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements
• Ensuring full risk assessments and risk management is delivered effectively
• Ensuring that work is undertaken in line with Health & Safety requirements and hygiene is maintained at all times
• Ensuring stock rotation and control is monitored Completion of daily petty cash returns
