Job summary

The Technical Estates Lifecycle Manager (ORC) is responsible for managing the subcontracted lifecycle of buildings at the Oxford Road Campus and other sites serviced by the PFI Contract. They ensure that buildings, plant, and infrastructure are lifecycled within statutory requirements, aligned with Trust and industry best practices, and in accordance with NHS policies, all while minimizing disruption to clinical services. They lead collaboration with Lifecycle Partners to deliver patient, staff, and visitor-focused services throughout lifecycle schemes.

Main duties of the job
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage the delivery of lifecycle schemes in partnership with PFI partners, including the backlog programme.
  2. Support the wider Estates team in shaping future estate and infrastructure provision at ORC.
  3. Oversee and monitor engineering and building services within the lifecycle programme, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
  4. Be accountable for daily operational aspects of lifecycle schemes affecting the Trust, including PFI and backlog maintenance, ensuring services are patient-focused, safe, efficient, and responsive.
