A leading company in the healthcare sector seeks a General Manager for a vital PFI contract. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, PFI experience, and a solid technical background. This role includes managing substantial operational budgets and a diverse team, with a focus on maintaining excellent relationships within the trust and SPV.
PFI General Manager – NHS Hard FM delivery. Edmonton. Salary £95k to £110k.
A well established Hard FM PFI hospital contract with 16 years left to run requires a new General Manager to continue the successful work carried out by the previous incumbent who is moving internally.
With 3 direct reports and overall responsibility for just under 60 staff, you will be an accomplished leader with strong PFI contractual knowledge and experience preferably within the healthcare sector. Responsible for a large newer PFI site and an older retained estate you will also have experience of variations and lifecycle costings and project works. Current operational P&L is c£7m with a further £5m – £7m in project works across the site. The Lifecycle fund is also held by this FM company.
The preference is for someone with a technical background or at the very least a very strong technical understanding, strong commercial and PFI contractual knowledge and exceptional staff management experience. This contract benefits from a good and positive working relationship with both the trust and the SPV.
