Job summary

300 North Limited is seeking a PFI Expiry Manager to lead the commercial, contractual and operational aspects of contract expiry. You will work with public sector clients, SPVs and contractors to secure structured handback across a portfolio of PFI contracts.

You will coordinate with commercial, operational and technical teams to assess asset readiness, risk and cost implications, ensuring timely expiry deliverables with robust governance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PFI commercial management and contract handling.
• Experience with PFI asset management, facilities management or handback.
• Understanding of PFI contractual arrangements and expiry considerations.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing priorities.
• Strong commercial awareness including risk, cost control and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial, contractual and operational needs for PFI contract expiry with stakeholders.
• Oversee handback preparation and expiry planning across a portfolio of contracts.
• Review obligations relating to asset condition, lifecycle investment and handback.
• Develop and monitor the expiry programme and timelines.
• Coordinate with commercial, operational and technical teams on compliance and asset readiness.
• Coordinate condition surveys, assessments and remedial works.
• Monitor financial exposure, costs and commercial risks at expiry.
• Engage with public sector clients, SPVs, contractors and advisers to resolve issues.
• Ensure documentation and asset records are ready ahead of handback.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks and commercial matters.
