Blue Cross is hiring a Rehabilitation Trainer & Behaviour Advisor to join the Behaviour team in Thirsk. The role involves applying reward-based training techniques, implementing rehabilitation programmes for pets in care, and advising centre teams and owners on behaviour issues.

Working under an Animal Behaviourist, you will develop practical training plans for a range of breeds and temperaments, with some weekend work and occasional travel to other sites as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable pet behaviour and training experience.
• Ability to develop and deliver training programmes for pets and owners.
• Experience applying reward-based training techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement rehabilitation programmes for pets in care.
• Coach and advise centre teams and pet owners on behaviour issues.
• Collaborate with Behaviour Service and Animal Behaviourist across Blue Cross.
