Job summary
Incommunities Group in Bradford is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to deliver effective, safe pest management across the Bradford district. You will lead investigations, carry out pest control tasks, maintain records, respond to urgent requests, and participate in training while supporting the Pest Control Team Leader when needed.
The role requires RSPH or BPCA Level 2 with at least one year of practical experience, a valid driving licence, and right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
- COSHH/Health & Safety knowledge.
- Experience handling toxic chemicals and physical work.
- Awareness of Health and Safety related to the role.
- RSPH or BPCA Level 2 with at least 1 year practical experience.
- Valid manual driving licence and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
- Three years of references.
- Basic DBS check required during pre-employment.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of a comprehensive Pest Management service.
- Lead investigations into pest problems.
- Update records accurately using IT software.
- Respond to emergencies and urgent requests.
- Advise on practical pest control measures and report complex issues.
- Deputise for Pest Control Team Leader in their absence.
- Liaise with internal and external departments such as Yorkshire Water.
- Attend relevant training courses.
