Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment in Oxfordshire is seeking a Level 2 Pest Control Technician who is keen to progress into supervision and management. You will deliver pest control services across the client base and begin taking on day-to-day operations alongside the Managing Director.

Initially you will inspect and treat pests, report findings, advise clients, and help manage workloads. The long-term goal is leadership of technicians, customers and schedules as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 2 pest control qualification.
• Hands-on experience as a Pest Control Technician.
• Strong technical understanding of pest control treatments and procedures.
• Confident dealing directly with customers.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, professional and capable of taking responsibility.
• Able to support and advise less experienced technicians.
• Wants to progress beyond a purely field-based technician position.
• Previous management experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pest control inspections, treatments and preventative works.
• Identifying and treating a wide range of pest infestations.
• Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations.
• Completing treatment reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Managing and developing relationships with commercial and residential clients.
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with industry legislation and best practice.
• Supporting and providing guidance to other technicians.
• Assisting with scheduling, workloads and the day-to-day coordination of jobs.
• Helping resolve technical or customer issues.
• Working closely with the Managing Director on the operational side of the business.
• Gradually taking on greater supervisory and management responsibility as the role develops.
