Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment in Oxfordshire is seeking a Level 2 Pest Control Technician who is keen to progress into supervision and management. You will deliver pest control services across the client base and begin taking on day-to-day operations alongside the Managing Director.

Initially you will inspect and treat pests, report findings, advise clients, and help manage workloads. The long-term goal is leadership of technicians, customers and schedules as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 2 pest control qualification.
• Hands-on experience as a Pest Control Technician.
• Strong technical understanding of pest control treatments and procedures.
• Confident dealing directly with customers.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, professional and capable of taking responsibility.
• Able to support and advise less experienced technicians.
• Wants to progress beyond a purely field-based technician position.
• Previous management experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Level 2 Pest Control Technician - Progression into Management

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

An established and growing pest control company based in Oxfordshire is looking to recruit an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join its team.

This is a little different from a standard technician position.

The company is particularly interested in speaking with someone who enjoys the technical side of pest control but is now looking to progress their career towards a management position.

You will initially be involved in delivering pest control services across the company's client base, while gradually taking on additional responsibility and working closely with the Managing Director.

The long-term aim is for the successful person to become increasingly involved in the day-to-day running of the operation, helping to manage technicians, customers and workloads while taking some of the operational pressure away from the MD.

The Role

The Person

• Wants to progress beyond a purely field-based technician position
• Has a genuine interest in developing into supervision, operations or management

Previous management experience would be beneficial but isn't essential. The company is equally interested in an experienced technician who feels ready to take the next step in their career and wants the opportunity to develop their management skills.

Salary & Opportunity

£32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
