Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: 27,000 - 30,000

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential, commercial, and industrial properties for signs of pests
• Identify infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods
• Safely apply chemical and non-chemical pest control treatments
• Install and maintain pest management equipment such as traps and monitoring devices
• Advise clients on pest prevention and long-term control solutions
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain detailed records
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and PPE in good working order
• Participate in training and ongoing professional development

Qualifications & Skills

• RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or willingness to work towards it)
• Previous experience in pest control or a related field desirable (training provided if required)
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically fit, able to work indoors, outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record

Working Conditions

• Field-based role, requiring travel to customer sites
