Job summary

FBR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control company, covering Kent and surrounding areas. The role is van-based, servicing DA, TN, ME and BR postcodes.

You will carry out inspections and treatments across commercial and residential sites, identify pests, install and service equipment, and maintain detailed service records while upselling additional pest control services. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 pest control qualification.
• At least 5 years' pest control industry experience.
• Mobile/van-based pest control experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine pest control inspections and treatments across sites.

Level 2 Pest Control Technician - Van Based

Location: Kent - covering DA, TN, ME & BR postcodes

Salary: Circa £35,000 + Overtime + Commission

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years' pest control experience

FBR Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control company, covering a portfolio of customers throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be van based and will primarily cover the DA, TN, ME and BR postcode areas.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable technician who has a strong background within pest control and is comfortable managing their own workload and customer relationships.

The Role

As a Level 2 Pest Control Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments across commercial and residential sites
• Managing a designated geographical area covering DA, TN, ME, and BR postcodes
• Identifying pest activity and recommending appropriate treatment programmes
• Dealing with a range of pests including rodents, crawling insects, and flying insects
• Installing, maintaining, and monitoring pest control equipment
• Completing detailed site reports and maintaining accurate service records
• Providing customers with professional advice on pest prevention and proofing
• Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services and upselling where appropriate
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Level 2 pest control qualification
• At least 5 years' pest control industry experience
• Previous experience working as a mobile/van-based Pest Control Technician
• Strong knowledge of pest identification, treatment, and prevention
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage their own diary and workload effectively
• Good understanding of health & safety and industry regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of Kent and the DA, TN, ME, and BR postcode areas
