Although Pest Control is not the most glamorous of services, it is essential for all our customers. We deal with pests like mice, rats, bedbugs, and fleas. If you're prepared to get your hands dirty when needed, this role may be for you.

As a trainee technician, each day will be different. You will visit council premises, customers' homes, and businesses with various pest issues. Working alongside a qualified Pest Control Technician, you'll develop treatment plans and gain knowledge and experience to provide effective solutions and educate residents on pest prevention.

Manchester City Council seeks an ambitious and enthusiastic Assistant Pest Control Technician to gain the relevant qualification (Royal Society for Public Health BPCA Level 2 in Pest Management) and experience to become a fully accredited Pest Control Technician. Upon qualification, salary and role will reflect this advancement.
