Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment seeks a Level 2 Pest Control Technician to cover Middlesbrough and surrounding areas in a van-based role. Immediate start available with a basic circa £29,000, plus overtime and commission opportunities.

You will manage a customer portfolio and deliver inspections, treatments and preventative pest control solutions. The ideal candidate will hold Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management, have a full UK driving licence and strong customer service skills to advise

Responsibilities

Salary: Circa £29,000 + Overtime + Commission

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control business, covering Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.

This is a van-based position offering a competitive basic salary of circa £29,000, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and commission.

The Role

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers across the Middlesbrough area, carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative pest control services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments
• Identifying and treating a range of pest issues
• Managing your own diary and customer portfolio
• Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation
• Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services
• Maintaining high standards of customer service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician
• A full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of common pest species, treatments and prevention methods
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to manage your own workload and work independently
