Pest Control Operative needed in Bolton, £14.13ph PAYE - Reference: 000A 3373 / 1

1. Respond to complaints and service requests across the borough or in an allocated, defined geographical area.
2. Conduct risk assessments of service requests.
3. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies of the Pest Control Service.
4. Identify the nature of infestations and the pests involved.
5. Select appropriate pesticides, seeking specialist guidance when necessary.
6. Prepare for and lay baits, poisons, and traps.
7. Perform follow-up treatments and visits, and dispose of rodents and other pests properly.
8. Collect and submit all monies related to client charges.
9. Secure additional contract work from the commercial sector and assist in pricing according to current policies.

This is a full-time, temporary contract position.
