Businesses, from start-ups to enterprises, run their operations and applications on Amazon’s multi-tenant infrastructure.

Amazon is looking for an exceptional Personnel Security Analyst, with experience in security vetting and aftercare, supporting and managing Amazon businesses security needs.

This position will be working as part of a wider team of industry-leading security experts working with UK customers to operate and continuously improve security programs and processes. This team manages the underlying security programs and processes for personnel security, physical and logical accreditations, education, awareness and training, assurance, and cyber security. This position will lead on personnel security administrative tasks, ensuring Amazon personnel apply the appropriate vetting processes.

We’re looking for an experienced and self-motivated candidate who can prioritise well and can communicate clearly and compellingly.


Key job responsibilities
* This role is both strategic and very hands-on with day-to-day management of vetting tasks.
* Develop and lead the personnel security & vetting strategy
* Hands-on management of routine vetting admin tasks, develop an understanding of current processes and then implement efficiencies.
* Process vetting applications and report on progress, ensuring accurate records are maintained
* Day to day management of records ensuring they are maintained, users are trained, accounts are management
* Assist with the development of security training and awareness and measuring the security culture of the environment
* Contribute to the development of new documentation and processes to continually improve and optimise personnel security services
* Provide personnel security guidance and expertise to business stakeholders
* Provide personnel security support to all AWS functions as appropriate
* Develop and maintain relationships internally and externally with industry partners
* Provide personnel security advice and briefings to Amazon staff
* Support security incident management and investigations
* Ensure latest vetting standards are adopted and ownership of incident reporting to required departments
* Participant and contribute to Insider Risk investigations and best practice.
