You will be working for a key player within the fenestration and facades industry, a niche but valued area of the construction and manufacturing sector.

Your remit will include:

  1. Developing and implementing people management strategies: Exercising proven strategies regarding people development and facilitating effective implementation of new initiatives across all departments and levels.
  2. Employee relations: Assisting management in resolving escalated employee issues, conducting investigations, and recommending actions for sensitive situations.
  3. Strategic HR development: Working with management to develop and evaluate the people strategy, providing insights to inform decision-making.
  4. Policy monitoring and improvement: Monitoring, challenging, and improving existing policies to ensure alignment with company values and legislation.
  5. Leadership and culture: Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff, promoting a growth mindset, and championing company culture by benchmarking against external trends.

The successful candidate will:

  1. Have up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices.
  2. Possess proven experience in managing, coaching, and team development.
  3. Be skilled in influencing senior management and departmental heads to adopt beneficial HR policies.
  4. Be capable of tailoring complex messages to diverse audiences.
  5. Be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, result-driven, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  6. Be adaptable to change, collaborative, and comfortable in high-pressure environments.
