What does a typical day look like as a Personal Travel Expert?

It all starts by talking all things travel whilst your customer enjoys the in-store experience; whether it be over a glass of Champagne, a cold Peroni or sipping tea from around the world. You will deliver a personal service daily, inspiring and creating excitement for the customer by designing holidays that match their interests, tastes, spend, and preferences, all with a commitment to quality.

As part of Kuoni's new retail vision, we offer a wider range of products to our customers - our famous tailormade Kuoni holidays, along with third-party products that may better suit the customer, maintaining our high service standards while booking through trusted brands.

Once the customer books their holiday, you ensure their experience continues with exceptional service, acting as their concierge and point of contact, surprising and delighting them at various touchpoints before travel. You will also work towards monthly sales targets and foster relationships with our brands and suppliers.

Personality & Skills

We seek confident, well-traveled individuals with a passion for making customers' booking journeys seamless. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about travel with experience in long-haul destinations
  • Be self-motivated and focused on building repeat business
  • Have proven sales experience and knowledge of the travel industry
  • Be adept at managing their own time and flexible in a dynamic environment
  • Be quick to learn new booking systems
  • Be available to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, with shifts across 5 days, typically Monday to Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm.
