Are you a dedicated fitness professional passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Trainers to join a brand new space opening up in West Byfleet later this year.

About the space:

This new small-group personal training space is designed for people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who may feel intimidated by commercial gyms. Their goal is to bridge the gap between intentional recovery and personal training, offering programs that combine small group PT sessions with Pilates classes for a holistic approach to strength, flexibility, and wellbeing. Led by an incredible founder who overcame a stroke at 28 and brings firsthand experience in turning adversity into strength, the whole ethos of this studio is around empowering both the mind and body to help clients build resilience, confidence, and lasting physical results. Beyond fitness, this studio focuses on community and support, guiding clients through life’s challenges (e.g. illness, injury, or major life changes) with motivation, mentorship, and personalised coaching. Working as a Personal Trainer here means joining a space dedicated to transformation, growth, and connection, not just exercise.

The Basics:
  • Salaried: £30-£35k depending in coaching experience.
  • Working hours: full time, coaching up to 25 SGPT sessions per week and a mixture of morning, evening and weekend shifts.
  • Opportunity to get involved with other areas of the business e.g. sales, marketing, local partnerships.
  • Paid for education and CPD courses.
The Role:

As a Personal Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of clients, guiding them towards improved fitness, strength, and overall well-being. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct small group personal training sessions with up to 6 clients, developing and following customised workout programs based on clients' individual goals, fitness levels, and health considerations.
  • Provide instruction, guidance, and motivation during training sessions to ensure clients perform exercises safely and effectively.
  • Conduct fitness assessments and body composition analyses to track clients' progress and make appropriate adjustments to their training programs.
  • Educate clients on proper nutrition, lifestyle habits, and overall wellness practices to complement their fitness journey.
  • Upsell benefits of pilates to clients to ensure they access all available facilities at this space and add variety to their training.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes, progress reports, and goal tracking.
  • Demonstrate exercises and techniques, ensuring clients understand and perform them correctly.
  • Stay current with fitness industry trends and research to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Support and engage with clients outside of training sessions, offering guidance, motivation, and accountability through various communication channels.
  • Support the founder with additional business needs e.g. sales, marketing, partnerships to cement this space within the local community.
The Person:
  • Nationally recognised personal training certification Level 3 or above.
  • First Aid certification from a reputable organisation.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing effective fitness programs for individuals of varying fitness levels and goals.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and proper exercise technique.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients.
  • Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients, adapting coaching styles to meet individual needs.
  • Organisational skills to track client progress, schedule sessions, and manage administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on client availability.
