Personal Trainer Role - Full Time role

Location: Surrey

Salary: Competitive salary plus commission

This role is for one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. One of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

As a Personal Trainer you will be working in the Tennis & Health Club, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our members' fitness journeys by delivering exceptional one-on-one and small-group training sessions. You will tailor programs to meet individual goals, promote overall health and foster an environment that prioritises wellness. Your expertise and passion for fitness will contribute to creating a top-tier experience for our members

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction and Training:

  • Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations to understand members' goals, needs and medical backgrounds.
  • Design and implement personalised fitness programs that align with members' abilities, preferences and objectives.
  • Deliver safe, effective and engaging personal training sessions.
  • Provide ongoing support, motivation and education to help members achieve their goals.
  • Provide innovative and challenging program / exercises to keep members engaged
  • To deliver a minimum of 5 group classes per week within your hours

Member Engagement:

  • Foster strong relationships with members, promoting a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Encourage members to participate in additional programs, classes or services that align with their wellness goals.
  • Actively contribute to member retention initiatives.
  • Communicate with members in a professional and courteous manner.

Safety and Maintenance:

  • Monitor all fitness areas in line with company guidelines, to ensure the safety of members and proper use of equipment.
  • Educate members on correct exercise form and equipment usage to minimize risk of injury.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fitness centre in line with club standards.

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques and certifications in the fitness industry.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Administrative Duties:

  • Track and document member progress and session details accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with club policies, procedures and code of conduct.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • Certified Level 3 Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of personal training experience in a high-end fitness or country club environment.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to design and adapt programs for a variety of fitness levels and needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Act as a positive role model with the aptitude to inspire members
