Job summary

Saffery, a partner-led chartered accountancy and tax advisory firm, is offering a trainee opportunity toward the ATT/CTA pathway. The three-year-plus programme combines tuition with on-the-job learning, supported by Kaplan, and exemptions may apply if AAT Level 4 is completed.

The role focuses on personal tax for high net worth clients in a collaborative environment. You’ll develop core tax skills, work across private clients and offshore interests, and gain exposure to a range of industries

Qualifications

• Understanding of ATT/CTA qualification pathway.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and learn on the job.
• Willingness to study professionally while working.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns and computations for clients.
• Support reporting, analysis and submissions using client data.
• Use specialist tax software to deliver quality work.
• Research technical tax topics and support advisory projects.
• Prepare reports and documentation for senior review.
• Build client and colleague relationships across industries.
• Contribute to practical tax solutions for client goals.
• Work on personal tax planning projects.
