Job Description
You will be responsible for preparing personal, trust, and estate tax returns, trust year-end accounts, and delivering quality compliance services. You will manage a portfolio of tax and trust administration cases, prepare and submit annual self-assessment tax returns and computations, and prepare documents and performance figures for annual trustees' meetings. There may be opportunities to be involved in advisory projects, assist in planning solutions, and develop your technical tax skills. You will also prepare forms related to investments and draft responses to client queries. Maintaining direct contact with clients, HMRC, and investment brokers is essential to provide excellent client service. This role offers a superb opportunity to advance your career in tax and trusts.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants may be ATT/CTA or TEP qualified, qualified by experience, or studying for these qualifications. Candidates should have several years of experience in an accountancy or specialist tax firm, with a focus on personal tax. Experience in trust administration is beneficial, but a strong interest in developing skills in trust accounts and administration is also valuable.
What's on Offer
A salary of £35,000 - £45,000+ depending on experience, plus benefits. Salary is negotiable.
