TPF Recruitment is partnering with a respected independent accountancy practice in Maidenhead seeking a Personal Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to manage client portfolios and provide advisory support.

You will cover compliance work, tax planning, and mentoring of junior staff within a supportive firm that values development and a strong client-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a personal tax environment within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of UK personal taxation and current legislation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee a portfolio of private clients, including HNWI’s, partnerships and trusts.
• Ensure personal tax compliance work is completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
• Review tax returns and related work prepared by junior staff, offering technical support and constructive feedback.
• Handel more complex tax affairs, computations and disclosures as required.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, responding to tax queries and providing practical guidance.
• Liaise directly with HMRC regarding enquiries, correspondence and compliance matters.
• Assist with tax planning projects and advisory assignments across a broad range of personal tax issues.
• Support the training and development of junior members of the team through coaching and day-to-day supervision.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider practice to deliver an outstanding client experience.

The Role

As a key member of the personal tax team, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients and ensuring the smoothdelivery of compliance work. Alongside this, you'll provide support on taxplanning assignments, work closely with senior leadership and contribute to theongoing development of junior team members. Responsibilities include:

Requirements

• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Previousexperience gained within a personal tax environment in an accountancypractice.
• Strongunderstanding of UK personal taxation and current legislation.
• Priorexperience reviewing work or supporting less experienced team memberswould be advantageous.
• Excellentorganisational and time-management skills.
• Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with clientsand colleagues alike.

• £45,000- £58,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
