Job summary

Pro-Finance is seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join its growing practice near Leighton Buzzard. The role focuses on personal tax compliance, taking ownership of a portfolio and guiding work from start to finish.

You will prepare and submit Self Assessment returns, manage deadlines, and liaise with clients and HMRC. Advisory work may be available as you grow, with ATT/CTA progress welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• UK personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience dealing with HMRC.
• ATT progression towards CTA would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns.
• Manage your own portfolio and meet deadlines.
• Deal directly with clients and respond to tax queries.
• Liaise with HMRC as required.
• Review client information and identify issues requiring attention.
• Support the wider tax team during busy periods.
• Get involved in personal tax advisory work where possible.
