Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd in Swindon is seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join a growing Chartered Accountants firm. The role focuses on personal tax compliance with exposure to advisory projects and ongoing professional development.

You will manage a varied portfolio, work with senior team members and support on advisory assignments as opportunities arise, with hybrid working and flexible start/finish times.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal tax within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants.
• Strong knowledge of self-assessment and personal tax compliance.
• ATT qualified, CTA part-qualified/qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWI, company directors, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts.
• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.
• Assisting clients with tax planning opportunities and advisory matters.
• Supporting on inheritance tax, residency, domicile, and other personal tax projects.
• Liaising directly with clients, HMRC, and third parties.
• Managing tax deadlines and ensuring compliance obligations are met.
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and compliance requirements.
