Job summary

IPS Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Tax Senior or Tax Manager Designate to join an independent accountancy firm in Leeds. The role focuses on personal tax and compliance, working closely with the partners and a varied portfolio of owner-managed and private clients.

You will also provide ad-hoc support on advisory projects, broadening your experience and supporting progression toward a future management position.

Qualifications

• Strong personal tax experience within an accountancy practice.
• Excellent technical knowledge and a client-focused approach.
• ACA/CTA/ACCA qualifications or part-qualified candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns and computations.
• Dealing with HMRC correspondence and client queries.
• Providing practical day-to-day tax advice to clients.
• Supporting with ad-hoc personal and business tax advisory projects.
• Mentoring junior tax team members and developing client relationships.
• Taking increasing responsibility for delivery and review of client work.
