Job Description

  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax guidance.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to address queries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support junior team members by reviewing their work and offering technical advice.
  • Assist with managing client portfolios and ensuring deadlines are met consistently.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

  • Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Professional qualifications, such as ATT or CTA, or equivalent experience in tax services.
