Reading-based independent Chartered Accountants firm is seeking a Personal Tax Semi-Senior to Senior to manage a private clients portfolio, including HNWIs, SME directors and partnerships. You will handle both compliance and advisory matters with a supportive tax team.

The role offers a friendly, close-knit culture with clear progression opportunities; study support for CTA is available if required. Salary is £40,000–£48,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified ATT, ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified.
• Solid experience in personal tax within a practice environment.
• Background in an independent, boutique, or mid-sized firm preferred.
• Able to manage compliance work with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic about private client tax and committed to long-term development.
• Study support for CTA if required.

An established and growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Reading is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Semi-Senior or Senior to strengthen its expanding private client team. As a Personal Tax Senior, you’ll be responsible for your own portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, SME directors and partnerships. You'll work across both compliance and advisory matters, supported by a knowledgeable and approachable tax team.
