Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate self-assessment tax returns within deadlines.
  • Provide proactive advice on tax planning opportunities to clients.
  • Assist with HMRC enquiries and communicate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Support junior team members and review their work to ensure accuracy.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with clients and build strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless professional services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

  • Previous experience in personal tax within the professional services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications such as ATT or CTA (or working towards them).
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support team members.
