Are you an experience Personal Tax professional looking for a good work/life balance and long-term career development? Morgan Mckinley are pleased to be working with a top tier, global law firm to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing private wealth team.

The business do very high profile work and compete with the large corporates, but offer a rare mix of career development, meaningful work & genuine work-life balance. The private wealth team combine legal, tax & financial expertise and are the highest performing team in the business in terms of gross profit.

As Personal Tax Senior, you will take ownership of preparing self-assessment tax returns for the firm's partners, managing payments, handling queries & collaborating with internal teams and external advisers. You will work closely with the Personal Tax Manager, supporting their work with partners across the firm.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a personal tax environment (practice, in-house or legal)
  • Strong understanding of self-assessment tax returns
  • Exposure to trusts & IHT tax is desirable - but not essential
  • Excellent communication & organisation skills
  • Working towards ATT, CTA or STEP desirable - study support will be considered

On offer for the successful candidate is flexible, hybrid or remote working. They would prefer someone who can commute to either their Bristol or Newcastle office, but remote candidates will be considered.
